License Terms

1 What you are purchasing

You are not purchasing ownership of the file, but a right of use (license). All rights to the families, templates, and other digital products remain with Rasma BIM & Engineering Studio. The license is worldwide and perpetual, provided you comply with these terms.

2 What you may do

  • Use the product in your own projects within the licensee's organization. The license applies per organization: all employees of the licensee may use the product, regardless of the number of users or workstations.
  • Modify the product for your own use in your projects.
  • Share a project model in which the product is used with other companies, including your client, but only as an IFC file.
  • Make a backup copy for your own use.

3 What you may not do

  • Sell, rent, give away, or otherwise distribute the product, or a modified version of it, separately.
  • Include the product in your own library, template, or product that you sell or make available to others.
  • Publish the product on a website, in an online library, or on shared storage outside your organization.
  • Share or pass on Revit files containing the product (families .rfa and projects .rvt) to other companies, including your client.
  • Remove or modify the license information in the product (licensee, license code, creator).

4 License information

Each sold product is its own copy with recorded license information: licensee, license code, and creator (Rasma). This shows to whom the copy was delivered.

5 Updates and support

Correction of errors in a purchased product is free of charge, as long as that version of the product is still offered. Rasma may offer new versions with new features for a fee.

6 Control and responsibility

Families and templates are tools for modeling and drafting. They do not replace structural calculations. The licensee is responsible for checking dimensions, quantities, and application in their project. For supplier data, the supplier's current documentation always applies.

7 Termination

If the licensee breaches these terms, the license will lapse and Rasma may claim damages.

8 Miscellaneous

Rasma's General Terms and Conditions and Dutch law apply to this license. Autodesk and Revit are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc.; Rasma is independent of Autodesk.
